OfflineHi,
I'm trying to apply fixpack 7.1.1.6 to 7.1.1.5.
Should be straightforward however, the system I need to upgrade did not
have Maximo installed on it. Basically, the whole SMP area was copied
across to allow EAR file builds etc but the install process was never
ran on the machine. Should this have any effect?
The reason for the post is that I'm getting a lovely non-informative
error message when trying to run the update. It errors on the
pre-install activities, the "Detecting and Analyzing Packages Required
for Offering" gets to 66% and then the informative error message of
"CTGIN2414E: The installer encountered an unexpected internal error".
I've looked at the logs and the only error i can find is "ACUMRI0011E
Provided file id was not found: LicenseZip" in the de_trace.log. This
kind of implies that it doesn't know where to look for the licence file.
Anybody had this problem or know if I can force the installer to read through a certain directory?
Thanks

OfflineDid anything else happen with this post?
I am having the same issue, and the Deployment Manager is running, nodeagent, etc… I have tried multiple times, and still have the same issue.
Also, I am upgrading from 7.1.1.6 to 7.1.1.9. Should this be straight forward? I don't need to go to 7.1.1.8, and then 7.1.1.9 do I?
