Hello,

Maximo 7.1.1.6

After using a flat file and the MIF to import some new craft codes I needed to go back in and remove the old craft codes. I changed the command from AddChange to DELETE and then ran the Data Import in Exchange Services. I did this thinking that the DELETE would remove all of the lines I had listed in the flat file. I did NOT get an error message and everything seemed to run just fine.

The problem is that the old entries are still in the Craft application.

Any ideas?

I am currently loading:

CRAFT|DESCRIPTION|ORGID|STANDARDRATE|

SKILLLEVEL|DESCRIPTION|SKILLLEVELRANK|SKILLLEVELRATE

Is CraftID a different field from Craft? If so, the CraftID field is not visable. How do I look up the values?

Chon,

Thanks for the help. It turned out to be a rookie mistake. I was trying to delete records that were still being used. The old craft codes were still listed on Job Plans. The error was masked in an overflowing queue. On top of that,  because I kept trying to run it I jammed up the middle ware. Once I flushed out all of the queues I was able to see the error. Rookie error. Don't try to delete something that is still being used.
