Export data to XML with MIF

Hello,

I'm having trouble exporting XML files, following the steps from "Export data to XML files with MIF" tutorial verbatim.  The only folder I can see in the global-directory are axis2, schema, and txndata (an empty folder from trying to export to xml I believe).

I've checked the global-directory setting and checked the SystemOut.log and got:
> [INFO] wrote data to Queue jms/maximo/int/queues/sqout

I've gotten the export to work before, but after reverting a snapshot of the VM I'm on, it has stopped working.

Any help is much appreciated! sf cool MAXIMO Forum

Hey Chon,

Thanks for the prompt reply!  However, at the time, I was using the un-fixpacked version 7.1.1.0, so it wouldn't have been that particular problem, could it?

After that, I updated to 7.1.1.6 and applied the solution, which I'm not sure if I correctly applied.  During redeployment, which was my first time, I used "maximo.ear" from the directory: "C:ibmSMPmaximodeploymentdefault".  Also, I wasn't sure of the virtual host, so I picked maximo_host.  Would these choices be problems?

So, I'm still not getting any XML files.

Any further help is much much appreciated!

Yes, I uncommented the 4 sections regarding the queues.  Is that what you mean by rebuilded the file?

That is the step I skipped, thanks…now, I'm on Step 3: Bind listeners for message-driven beans.  I picked default_host for the Virtual Host; does this matter?  I need to specify Listener Port Names for JMSContQueueProcessor-1 and JMSContQueueProcessor-2.

I tried creating a new Listener Port, but that did not work.

I have no idea what to do now, can you guide me through this or point me in the right direction?

Once again, thank you and sorry for my lack of knowledge.

Don't forget to activate your cron task to process the JMS messages.

I went through the whole process thrice, making sure every step is correct, but now, I can't even start the Maximo Application.

This is the error, "ADMC0009E: The system failed to make the SOAP RPC call: invoke"

Any ideas?

Hi,

I've been following all the help instructions and hints but have had no success testing an simple export with MIF on my vm (mam 7116)…  I turned on logging and set it to DEBUG and received the following message…

[DEBUG] isOKToRun – NOT OK to run task JMSQSEQCONSUMER.SEQQOUT with queue name null with selector null and processor null and error handler null server name MXServer

Can someone please provide some insights…

Much appreciated,

andrewt

@andrewt — I would start a new thread. Posting on this one could be seen as highjacking.

@zyphirr– Have you changed the host name? Or has anything changed with your network?
