Maximo MIF – Message tracking and the ‘store message?’ option

In most of the MIF tutorials here, I like to use the Message Tracking feature so I know whether or not the messages even get received by Maximo and if it was processed successfully or not.  There is another option to store the incoming messages to an XML file so you can view them later.  Here is a post from IBM on how to store messages.  This can be helpful if you are using interface tables because in the end it will be converted to XML files when the import executes.
