Hi there. I used Maximo many years ago but dropped it due to its poor mobile solution. I was wondering, how much would it cost to get Maximo Everywhere into the hands of a client who doesn’t yet have any server software. What’s the minimum cost do get this up and running? Thanks
Stuart,
Cost depends on a lot of factors but Maximo Anywhere requires you have at least one Authorized User license of Maximo (since it requires Maximo and you can’t use the Express or Limited without an Authorized User license) which I don’t know the cost off the top of my head. You would also need to buy a Maximo Anywhere license which list price is just under $3000.
Once you make those two purchases you can build out your server hardware (which obviously may have additional licensing/costs) so it’s hard to give you an exact estimate. If it’s just for demo purposes, I imagine IBM will have a demo soon and business partners will as well soon and that will often be without charge.
