Maximo 7.6 Q&A

There is a lot of buzz going around about the newest Maximo 7.6 release.  In case you had any questions about this release like what browsers are supported?  What database supports multi-tenants?  Or even about Maximo Everyplace and Maximo Anywhere.  Questions about the Integration Framework are also answered.

Maximo 7.6 supports IE 8, 9, 10, 11, Google Chrome (I hope BIRT is supported here too), Firefox and Safari (Mac Only).  Another interesting question is regarding Maximo Everyplace.

The Everyplace capability is included in the Maximo 7.6 platform.  You can make the Everyplace applications available to your users, no additional licensing is required

Everyplace is now FREE with Maximo 7.6.  It enables you to use Application Designer to build any mobile app you want.  There are no out-of-the-box applications, but the tools are there for you to use.  Maximo Anywhere is separate of course requires a different license to use it.

  1. 7.6 Application Designer
    I am trying to mod some of the screens using the Application Designer but when I click on the Control Palette, there aren’t any controls. All I get is a radio button choice to show labels or not. I have searched the internet but can’t find any information related to the Control Palette in 7.6.
