ABM Mobile Strategy Takes Off
Adopts EZMaxMobile To Service Leading North American Airline
Wakefield, MA, July 16, 2013 – InterPro Solutions, LLC headquartered in Wakefield, Massachusetts has announced that ABM, a leading facilities management company, has implemented EZMaxMobile as the primary mobile solution for its facilities management workforce at five major metropolitan airports including Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Boston and San Francisco. ABM currently provides preventive maintenance services for over 20,000 pieces of equipment for their client, one of the top three North American airlines, and was specifically looking to streamline work processes to gain efficiency and cost savings to provide better service for this client.
“At the Atlanta airport hub alone, ABM generates over 8,000 work orders a month, some 2-3 pages long with extensive checklists,” said Jesse Moore, CMMS project manager for ABM. “Previously, this process was all paper based, and with our rollout of EZMaxMobile, we are now quickly transitioning this stack of paper into an efficient paperless process. With what we have implemented so far, we expect the return on investment to be well beyond our initial estimates,” Moore added. ABM has also implemented EZMaxMobile to efficiently process purchase orders and integrate mobile into their warehouse inventory system, including the ability for the client to approve purchase orders via mobile enabling a tighter integration with the airline.
ABM had done extensive research before choosing EZMaxMobile for their mobile solution. “Most of the alternative mobile solutions we considered were cumbersome and not designed from the ground-up for the latest mobile platforms,” said Moore. “InterPro offered an easy to use interface that mobile users are accustomed to, and the support for our rapid expansion into new areas has been incredible.”
“We are pleased to continue to help ABM achieve their objectives for implementing a mobile strategy across critical functions to reach new efficiency levels,” said Bill Fahey, CEO of InterPro. “Our in-depth knowledge of their CMMS system, paired with our field-proven mobile solution enables us to truly partner with our customers in solving their challenges quickly.”
