New IBM Maximo Express Use Concurrent User License

A few new things have been announced by IBM and one of them is a new concurrent license type for express users.  IBM has also released Maximo for Aviation. [Source: IBM]

IBM® Maximo® for Aviation MRO V7.6 benefits organizations that provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for commercial, military, and government operators and airlines. Maximo for Aviation MRO V7.6 helps organizations:

  • Create and manage the lifecycle of maintenance programs.
  • Define and manage the configuration of software.
  • Improve the scheduling of maintenance activities to reduce turnaround time.
  • Gain analytical insights through IBM Cognos® workspaces.

IBM Maximo Asset Management Express® Use Concurrent User License V7.6:

  • Provides a new license metric for organizations that have a large number of named users compared to the number of concurrent users.
  • Can be used with all IBM Maximo solutions that allow Express license usage.
