There are many ways to skin a cat when dealing with Maximo and the Integration Framework is no exception. And let’s face it, when using the MIF to import data, it’s not normally an easy task. It’s more of a trial and error process. You send data to Maximo and hope that the data is something that Maximo is expecting. But there are processing rules and controls that you can add to any enterprise service (inbound) or publish channel (outbound) to help with the data.
